Following the success of the legendary debut, Deicide followed up with the shorter, muddier 'Legion'. A record short on running time, but not on brutality. 'Behead The Prophet' and 'In Hell I Burn' are still two of my favourite Deicide tracks. The extremely distorted guitars make it difficult to make out exactly what is being played on the album, but the solid musicianship and increase in malevolent delivery overshadowed any imperfections. Again, over 100,000 sold in the United States and currently the highest selling death metal record in America.
